SASIMI 2024 — Energy Reduction of Health Monitoring Processor by Optimizing Supply and Back-Gate Voltages with Simulated Annealing

UNO Laboratories and Hirosaki University presented joint research results at SASIMI 2024 (The 25th Workshop on Synthesis And System Integration of Mixed Information technologies). The paper explored further power reduction of the Trinita®-based health monitoring processor by applying simulated annealing to optimize supply voltage and back-gate voltage. This research represents the latest academic advancement in low-power optimization of the Trinita® architecture, building on the ASIC prototype completed in ROHM 180nm process in September 2023.
