SASIMI 2021 — Energy Efficient RISC-V Processor for Portable Sensor Applications

UNO Laboratories and Hirosaki University presented joint research results at SASIMI 2021 (The 32nd Workshop on Synthesis And System Integration of Mixed Information technologies). The paper reported improved circuit efficiency of the single-stage RISC-V processor implemented on Xilinx® Artix®-7 100T FPGA, achieving twice the operating frequency of previously verified results while significantly reducing logic element utilization for even lower power consumption.
